I have represented the South constituency of Ireland in the European Parliament since 1994, which covers the counties of Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford.

The South is one of four European constituencies in Ireland and has a population of over one million people.

The constituency has a large urban/rural population, so I represent a diverse cross-section of the Irish electorate. I meet many delegations at home and in Brussels as well as individual members of the public with national and European concerns. This helps me to represent your interests in discussions at EU level.
